De eerste editie van de Pre-Cup startte in juli 2011. Op 14 juli opperde Quoque het idee voor een vriendschappelijk toernooi voor CHF-Leden die vroeg uit de beker lagen. De naam Pre-Cup werd bedacht door mathie en de eerste editie werd opgestart door Rusty1979, waarna Quoque de organisatie weer overnam. Het bleef niet bij die ene editie.
